Basic Space are Launching at Gracelands 2012.
Kari, Simon, Hannah, Michael, Greg and Daniel are ready for their launch.
As Gracelands 2012 closes, Launch will leave the Milk Market and meander it's path through Limerick City's streets. This will mark the beginning of Basic Space's next journey.
Arriving to O'Callaghan's Strand, the vessel will Launch into The Shannon and will be christened for a journey down stream the following day.
For EVA 2012, Gracelands moves off-site from the Mimetic House in Dromahair to present at the Milkmarket, Limerick on August 2nd. A one-date exhibition/festival, curated by Vaari Claffey, Gracelands incorporates performance, sculpture, drawing and film. Entitled ‘Circling the Square’, this iteration is concerned both with the symbolic value of geometric forms and the conditions and imperatives of gatherings.
