Future Space ~ BS/FS

Basic Space

We' re delighted to invite you to join us at our Future Spaces panel, Saturday 28th July.

To close our multi-site programme looking at community space, education and institutional attitudes, the Future Spaces panel seeks to contextualise the independent space in its past, present and future iterations.

A conversation around independent spaces might involve asking; how do independent spaces survive under current economic conditions, how they can adapt, and what’s their potential future? We welcome representatives from two of the island’s leading independent spaces, Mary Conlon (Founder of Ormston House) and Peter Glasgow (Co-Director of Catalyst Arts).

This panel will be chaired by Basic Space Co-Directors Kim Gleeson and Philip Kavanagh
